Managerial Experience


Rahel Heruy has nine years experience as a pharmacist for both private and government drug stores. In 2010, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Central University College; Rahel also holds a Diploma in Software Engineering (2003). Her environmental and cosmetic knowledge has led to roles facilitating events including the “Eminence Environment Initiative” in which she organized environmental events including bazaars, trainings, seminars, meetings and workshops. She has been partnered with johannes-Gutenberg-Schule Heidelberg University in Germany, Addis Ababa University School of Pharmacy, and the Addis ababa educational office to organize and provide training for beauty care professionals and entrepreneurs in Addis Ababa. Management Experience Rahel Heruy Due to her expertise in her field, Wondo Genet Agricultural Research Centre has chosen to partner with her to conduct research on the benefits of essential oils and its promising economic potential. She has also partnered with ABSF(Agree business facility support) Being active participant in Spice and aromatic herbs plat form, the jury member for second time the entrepreneurs business plan contest of fresh agricultural university graduates, the founder and board member For spice and herbs growers and processors association and Participating on “SPICES INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIC PLAN 2015-2025” after her Invitation for her expertise & knowledge in the spices sub-sector industry. Her network includes membership in the African Women Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP), Association of Women in Business (AWiB), and the Ethiopian Public Health Professionals Association.
